La Planete Des Singes (Planet of the Apes). Original Movie Poster - 1963 (Mascii). In Excellent Condition - Framed and Ready for Display. Measurements: 40" (Height) / 27" (Width) [Frame Dimensions: 40 1/2" (Height) x 28 1/2" (Width) x 1 1/2 (Depth)]. Authenticity: We have carefully reviewed this poster (including un-framing for review) to determine authenticity, and have no reason to believe it is not an original. It shows no signs of being inauthentic. The paper stock, size, print, and even blemishes (see below) are consistent with its age, given the careful preservation it has obviously been kept for display.

That said, we are not experts (certified or otherwise) in grading and appraising this item, and we welcome any questions or notes of concern from viewers. This poster is in very good condition with few condition remarks to make. There is a small "fingerprint" smudge approximately 4 inches down from the top left corner (shown clearly in photographs).

There is a ink smudge on the back-side of the poster, but this probably doesn't matter, as it isn't visible from the front. There are some minor folds in the bottom right corner that we have carefully reflattened when replacing the framing.

The frame is a simple IKEA Ribba frame that includes an acrylic face and cardboard mounting. There is already the wire hanging mount. Our photographs provide the best reference about the overall quality and condition of the item.
