Mego Planet of the Apes Village (Complete)

Mego Planet of the Apes Village. Up for sale is a nice vintage Planet of the Apes Village made by Mego and is 100% complete. Overall it is in surprisingly great shape for being 40 plus years old and made out of cardboard and clear vinyl.

The set goes together real nice and looks great with a few condition issues (see notes below). This is a perfect play set for the entry to mid level collection. Includes all the original Mego parts and photo copy of the original instruction sheet.

Take a close look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions. Some additional issues to note are. There may be some very minor splitting in some vinyl seams mostly on the bottom edges and where any flaps insert into slots. Some of the rivets have tarnish, rusted with age and the two top rivets on the Statue of Liberty side have been replace (see pic). May be some mild warping of the vinyl case. There are a few split seams on the inside fold out on the Statue of Liberty side. You can chose to tape these, but they don't affect setting it up too much. The vinyl mat has some old fold marks and a few dirty spots (roll don't fold vinyl). Some mild creasing and splits inside on the Statue of Liberty side fold outs. Flip over weapons table has the usual glue marks from the factory and has been re-glued on one corner. One rifle is a little warped. Other various flaws and marks not noted. This item comes from a pet friendly home.
