Life Size Gorilla Soldier Head Sculpt. Up for sale is a 1:1 scale Planet of the Apes Gorilla soldier head with stand. This artist made sculpt consist of a reproduction Planet of the Apes facial appliance made out of foam latex from the original molds made for the films and TV series from the late 1960s to mid-1970s.

It has been professionally attached to a head with real human and synthetic hair. It has great detail with real glass eyes and even has hair in the nostrils. The sculpt has a dark brown complexion with carefully attached hair that you can style to your needs. The stand says "Planet of the Apes" and is hand signed and dated by the artist (Douglas Hildebrandt) on the bottom. Measures about 17 1/2 in total height.

The head can be removed and used on a full body life-size display or just displayed as is. A nice piece to add to your collection.
