Planet of the Apes Hero Chimp Tunic Screen Used with reproduciton pants

Chimp Tunic Screen Used Prop. Up for sale is a screen used hero tunic and reproduction pants from the original Planet of the Apes films starting in 1968 and going into the early 1970s. The tunic has been restored as the leather was rotted and falling off and the fabric had faded to a brownish color (see last few pics before restoration). It has the original Western Costume Company stamp on the inside. The tunic was completely disassembled and dyed to the original color and all leather was replaced to match the original style.

There is some slight discoloration on the bottom edge of the tunic and a few variations throughout the fabric. The right bottom side of the sleeve near the wrist has three small tear holes most likely from the filming days.

The reproduction pants are a little darker in color on the back side (see pic with pants laying on tunic for difference). But match nicely on the front side. Also included are various types of fabric that can be used for the sleeve ends that you can pin inside the sleeves. Take a close look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions.
