Planet of the Apes Jointed Galen 62 Life size Cardboard Vintage 1974

This item is a scarce and hard to find vintage 1974 Planet of the Apes Jointed Galen Cardboard Figure in the original package, produced by Our Way Studios for 20th Century Fox. The display packaging shows it's age in wear and tear to plastic and paper tears/wrinkling.

Prior owner told me that this figure has not been removed from the package, but there is evidence of re-stapling of the paper display packaging, some bent staples at the top of the packaging, wear/tear/wrinkling and bending to both the packaging and figure. The bag has outside soiling but the item itself looks clean inside. Colors are bright and vivid. There is at least one rubbed/wear mark - see last photo.

There are multiple small holes to the clear plastic display bag due to many years in storage. The figure itself has a few folded/bent edges near the feet/arms you can see through the bag- see photos 9 and 10. One of the feet has staple holes through it from re-stapling to keep package together- see photo #8. No smoke or odd smells or mold.
