Vintage Don Post Fox Films Planet of The Apes Mask Set Dr. Zaius Gorilla Soldier

Amazing Planet of The Apes - Dr. Zaius and Gorilla Soldier Mask Set.

These vintage masks are 40+ years old and are in very good condition. The Gorilla Soldier has no damage or evident wear. It is stamped --> DON POST MASK/DON POST STUDIOS.

The right eye is slightly larger than the left but that is how it appears to be made. The hair is mangy and heavily matted like all masks from this vintage. Zaius mask is also in great condition, no damage or wear and the nose tint looks perfect. Again, the hair is matted and mangy.

The original owner said he bought them at the same time from the same store sometime in the early 70's. The 2 masks both appear to be DON POST masks but Zaius is stamped by 20th Century Fox.
