For sale is a vintage Mego Corp. Action figure, new in the original box. Planet of the Ape Astronaut. 8 inches tall wearing a blue nylon 1 piece jumpsuit with metal zipper, white vinyl belt, black vinyl boots, hard silver plastic helmet with pull down blue tinted glasses. Back of his head is stamped Mego Corp.
1972, body is stamped 1971. Hard plastic body with soft vinyl head. Box is plain cardboard with black writing.He is new condition, never played with, taken out of the box, undressed for picture purposes only. But because of storage, his jumpsuit is faded and discolored, his pull down blue visor on helmet is stuck and his right arm fell off (there is a thin crack on arm part that attaches to elastic band). Some black writing missing on box. All other parts/pieces are in new condition.
