This is the Planet of the Apes Treehouse Playset from Mego 1974. This set is mostly complete with a box that is quite worn. What is missing is the instructions & catalog, the capture net and carry pole and the 2 little decals that go on the cabinet. The string slings on the M-16's are missing as well. One of the wood dowel ends has broken off making it a bit shorter (see 9th photo) as well as the roof piece is starting to split on front edge (see 9th photo). The top of the weapons bench is slightly warped but not bad with both ends still attached. The weapons bench is unbroken and the legs are unbroken, and the jail cardboard is still intact. The large amount of brown plastic pieces all seem to be in great shape. The box is very worn and taped at the bottom.

I had to make an internal cardboard insert for the box to help keep it's shape. It has holes and splits and is generally in poor condition.

It displays ok from the front. Great for your POTA collection! I have attempted to take good photos so you know what you are getting.
