2001 Planet of the Apes Screen Used Movie Prop Battle Staff Weapon

Up for sale is a 2001 screen used Planet of the Apes movie prop. This is a battle staff that I bought many years ago from the company that bought all the excess props from the studio. The main body of the staff is made of solid wood, but the "pineapple head" is made of rubber. This would have been used up close to the camera by a stunt man most likely.

(In the second photo you can see some of the mounting rod showing through the rubber). However it does display nice and could be mounted with the Ape City Wall Hook I have listed separately. A very cool piece which shows Burton and Atwood's design influence and aesthetic.
