20th Century Fox Original Six Sheet Poster Folded Very Fine Condition. Six Sheet Poster for the Don Taylor science fiction adventure, ESCAPE FROM THE PLANET OF THE APES (1971) starring Roddy McDowall, Kim Hunter, and Bradford Dillman. An ingenious device was found to continue the story in this third film in the series and generally considered to be the best film after the original one.

The story can continue because three of the apes found the wreckage of a spacecraft shortly before the Earth is destroyed. They are able to repair the craft and travel back in time to 1970s America. This six sheet was printed on two separate panels which are joined together to display as one large-format poster. Six sheet posters on this title have proved elusive. We have two examples of the poster.
