The hand punched real yak hair, from what I recall was done by Norman Cabrera on this one. Norman is renowned makeup FX artist who began working in Hollywood at the age of 20 for Rick Baker. This ape is cast in super thick latex, it is heavy and substantial to hold and admire. It will last a long time when taken care of. Not meant to be worn.
