The mask was beautifully sculpted and painted by Jordu. I believe Kelly O'Neill, who is an Effects Industry stylist did the elaborate hair work.

It looks much better than the pictures with strands of grey running throughout. This is a stunning art piece, not a mass produced mask. Molded in super thick organic latex.

The paint layers, skin detail, expression etc. The hair work is amazing.

This is an obvious display type piece and not meant for wearing, although if it were slit in the. Back it could be worn. It measures approximately 13 tall without the hair.

Jordu Schell is credited with elevating the Monster Mask into a true fine art form. Others have followed, but Jordu is considered the pioneer and the genres best. His organic designs, sculpts and finishes are nothing short of fantastic and beautiful. This PLANET OF THE APES character is no exception.
