Mego Planet of the Apes. Forbidden Zone Trap Play set. Up for sale is a nice vintage Mego Planet of the Apes Forbidden Zone Playset (Sorry no original box).

Over all this play set is in surprisingly good shape for being 40 plus years old and made out of cardboard. It goes together real nice and looks great. None of the plastic parts are broken or cracked that I could find. There is some torn and missing graphics on one of tab areas of the ceiling and one of the plastic cell bars has some scraping (see pics). I completed a restoration as well.

I restored it by re-adhering the fraying tabs and edges and then sealing them to help stop it from fraying in the future. I also sealed the bottom of the base so it's easier to slid into the base supports. It is complete except it is missing the four clips that hold the base sections on.

These are not need to display as seen in the pics. Also included as a FREE bonus is a Donkey figure that seems to be the right scale for this piece. Please note this play set is used and has other minor imperfections due to its age and being used. Also included is a photo copy of the original instruction sheet. Sorry no original box included.
