Planet of the Apes #1 to #87 - Marvel UK 1974 - Full Set Incls Poster. Up for sale is a complete set of The Planet of the Apes comics. This series finished at issue #87.

They started Oct 1974 and finished June 1976. Obviously with comics of this age they may have the usual type of faults common with comics of this age for example but not limited to: small edge tears, foxing, marks, corner and edge creases or curls. We have also listed a few specific faults below that we have found when going through them. They are not all encompassing but are there to provide a higher level of detail and also for some issues that may not be visible in the images.

Hopefully with these notes and the pictures they? This set does come with the free poster that came with issue #1 but it does have tape on it, a couple of tears and general wear where I presume it's been on a wall at some point. These will be well packaged when dispatched but they are not individually bagged or boarded. Condition Notes: #1 1.5cm split at bottom of spine. Small tear top edge of front cover.

Curl to top right corner of front cover. #5 has a 1cm split at bottom corner of spine of the first pair of pages. #6 light crease through top right corner of comic. #9 has a large but very light crease through the bottom right corner of the comic.

#19 3/4cm split at top corner of the spine. #22 5cm split in centre pages at bottom corner of spine and detached at bottom staple. #43 longish crease down right edge of comic. It has a printing defect down the right edge of one of the pages.

#46 a bit of corner creasing. #52 a bit of corner and edge creasing. #55 has a small piece of tape on the front cover. #64 has a long edge fold with a couple of tears to the bottom edge of one of the pages. #68 has a few small edge tears to the pages. #79 has some marks on the edge of the front cover. #82 has a hole in the spine about 2cms in length. About half a dozen or so that have very light edge stains to covers, back and/or front and possible light discolouring to page edges, probably from getting damp/wet as per below. There is about 3 or 4 that feel like they must have got damp/wet at some point as they have some rippling and some minor staining to the covers. We've included a couple of photos to give examples of what to expect. About half a dozen or so that have centre pages detached at one staple. About half a dozen or so that have 1cm tears to 2 to 4 pages. About half a dozen or so that are missing one staple from either production or have maybe been removed.

We've included a couple of photos of one of the nice issues, #68, so you can see how nice they are. Issues may have some pencil or pen on the front/back covers.
