P" (service press) printed on the bottom right corner, and again in a perforated stamp to the left; the first wrappered trade edition had ads on the rear cover and later issue review copies have perforated "S. Near Fine with toning to spine and edges, faint pink stain to bottom textblock edge near spine not intruding into margins.

A stunning copy of the original French language first edition in the advance issue; copies signed by the author are scarce.
