Vintage Life Size 1970s Planet of the Apes Galen Lifesize Figure Wall Plaque

Up for sale is a very rare nice original 1970s Mego Planet of the Apes life-size wall figure. In all my years of collecting, this is the only one I have ever found. It is one sided and printed on thin cardboard and jointed so you can move the arms and legs. Measures about 5 feet tall x 18 inches wide. Overall in good condition with a few issues noted below. My intention was to restore it and replace the missing hand with a scan of the right hand printed in a mirror image on matt photo paper. I will include a black and white print out of the left black and white hand for your reference. My plan was to mount it using business card magnets to hold it in place.

There is also a small section of the bottom left foot missing that could be repaired by scanning it and making a new bottom in photo shop. Take a close look at the pictures and feel free to ask questions. Missing the left hand as noted and part of the bottom left foot. Has a some minor creases, bends and small tears throughout. Some of the joint holes have come apart and held in place with hole clips so the joints are still movable.

A few tape marks throughout. The head hole to hang is wearing out and I recommend you use a paper clip of some sort to hang it on the wall. There is a factory fold mark through the chest area, which is how it came out of the package when new. This was obviously so it could be hung on a store display hook. This item comes from a pet friendly home.
